Day-to-Day: Develop and maintain integrated resource-loaded Primavera P6 schedules Monitor project performance, critical path activities, milestones, and float erosion Generate project controls reports, dashboards, and executive-level updates Partner with project managers, construction managers, contractors, and field teams Identify and communicate schedule risks and opportunities Perform recovery planning, schedule compression, and what-if scenario analysis Lead weekly scheduling reviews and progress updates Support earned value reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis Maintain 3-week look-ahead schedules with field teams Escalate schedule constraints, delays, and project impacts to leadership Ensure project schedules meet client standards and expectations Job Description: Insight Global is seeking a Project Controls Scheduler for a leading automotive and advanced manufacturing client. This individual will support large-scale construction projects by developing, maintaining, and analyzing complex Primavera P6 schedules across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities. The ideal candidate will serve as a key project controls partner, providing critical schedule reporting, forecasting, risk analysis, and recovery planning while collaborating closely with project managers, contractors, vendors, and executive stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity to work on highly visible industrial construction initiatives in a fast-paced, innovative environment where strong scheduling expertise can directly impact project success.

Skills and Requirements

4-8 years of construction scheduling experience Advanced Primavera P6 experience Strong knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling Semiconductor manufacturing construction experience (Samsung, Intel, Micron, TSMC, GlobalFoundries, etc.) Experience building and maintaining baseline schedules, schedule updates, impact analysis, and recovery plans Earned Value Management (EVM), forecasting, and schedule performance analysis experience Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Ability to collaborate with project teams, contractors, vendors, and leadership Experience working in fast-paced, complex construction environments Experience supporting industrial megaprojects ($100M+) Commissioning and startup scheduling experience Resource loading and cost loading experience EPC, design-build, or owner-side project experience Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel reporting/dashboard experience Integrated project controls experience
