Job Duties

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Data Automation Engineer for a contract position with an Agricultural Cooperative located in Minnesota. This is a contract opportunity. This position is fully remote.

Compensation: $59.28 - $61.11 per hour, W2, based on qualifications

Position Overview:

This role is an embedded member of a product team, responsible for upholding and improving IT Quality Assurance and Testing standards. The ideal candidate will write and execute both manual and automated test cases, conduct code reviews, and focus on data-related testing including ETL, API, and BI Analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

Uphold and continually improve IT Quality Assurance and Testing standards and processes

Review requirements and Acceptance Criteria for completeness

Write and execute manual & automated test cases as an embedded team member of a product team

Conduct code reviews of test automation code

Provide estimates for test effort

Report QA automation metrics and testing status to project team

Identify, document and act on issues found during automated testing

Coordinate and escalate issues that arise during the testing phases

Assist in deployment verification of applications or customer deliverables

Work closely with other QAEs (Level 2 or 3) and QAE Manager on prioritization of tasks

Ensure quality and on-time delivery in all assigned work

Proliferate quality engineering practices throughout the product/project team

Collaborate with Senior Quality Assurance Analysts or Senior Quality Assurance Engineers to execute tests of business applications, online applications, document processing capability, and reporting deliverables

Primary Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of ETL QA testing experience

Well-versed in testing methods

Experience with Agile Methodology in a QA Role

Test Automation or software development/coding background in .NET, Selenium, Java, or similar coding language

Experienced with creating/executing API Testing

Experienced with Test Data Management

Experienced with Test Data Creation

Experienced with Data Modeling

Experienced with SQL Scripting

Experienced with BI Analytics Testing

Experienced with automated test frameworks

Understanding of Selenium WebDriver and Selenium/Playwright best practices

Understanding of RESTful Web principles

Understanding of Selenium WebDriver written in either .NET or Java

Understanding and working knowledge of the different types of testing (functional, system, integration, etc.)

One to Three years of experience in Functional Testing on a project team

Three to Five years of experience in Automated Testing using a development framework

Experienced in using AI for test case/test code generation
