Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Digital Adoption Specialist - Patient Access & Revenue Cycle designs, delivers, and continuously improves learning and adoption programs for onsite, remote, and contracted team members who perform patient access and revenue cycle functions. The learner population spans ambulatory clinics and centralized operational departments, including patient service representatives and other staff responsible for scheduling, encounter creation, registration, insurance verification, authorizations, financial clearance, billing, accounts receivable, and business office activities. Working with Ambulatory Operations, Patient Access, Revenue Cycle Operations, Information Services, Finance, and other stakeholders, the specialist translates new technology, workflows, policies, and regulatory requirements into practical learning experiences that improve user proficiency, workflow adoption, and sustained performance.

Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience:

Required:

  • 2-4 years of experience in training, education, instructional design, or related role.

  • Experience developing and delivering instructor-led and/or digital learning content.

  • Familiarity with learning management systems and documentation or knowledge management tools.

  • Strong communication, facilitation, presentation, organization, and customer service skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting hospital or healthcare patient access or revenue cycle operations, including ambulatory scheduling, encounter creation/management, registration, insurance verification, authorizations, financial clearance, billing, accounts receivable, denials, or business office workflows.

  • Experience training ambulatory clinic staff, patient service representatives, patient access teams, Patient Business Services staff, or other users of enterprise scheduling, registration, authorization, electronic health record, patient accounting, or related revenue cycle applications.

  • Understanding of end-to-end healthcare revenue cycle processes and workflows.

  • Experience with simulation-based learning, e-learning authoring tools, learning analytics, and competency assessment.

Education/Licensure/Certifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Business, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field. An equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.

Preferred:

  • Relevant patient access, revenue cycle, application, training, instructional design, or adult learning certification.

Pay Scale Information

$71,760.00-$92,144.00

The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates who meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates who exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
