Psychiatric RN Opportunity | Pensacola, FL | Up to $40/hr | Per Diem Available

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) for a residential behavioral health program in Pensacola, FL . This position provides care to adolescents ages 7-17 in a structured residential treatment setting focused on mental health and substance use treatment services.

Position Highlights

RN - Psychiatric
Pay: $40/hour
Night Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
36 hours per week available
8-week contract
Start Date: September 28, 2026
Per Diem opportunities also available
Auto-offer opportunity (no client interview required)

About the Facility Work with a residential treatment program serving Medicaid-eligible youth with serious emotional disturbances. The program provides 24-hour care, mental health treatment, and substance use prevention and treatment services in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
Administer medications and treatments as ordered
Support patients experiencing mental health and behavioral health challenges
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure quality patient care

Requirements

Active Florida RN License
Minimum of 1 year of psychiatric nursing experience
Current CPR certification
Ability to meet all state, federal, and facility requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age

Orientation & Training Comprehensive paid orientation includes:

Virtual corporate orientation
EHR training
CPI training (online and in-person)
Additional site-specific onboarding
