Description:
Job Summary:
The HR Generalist is responsible for the day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, benefits administration, and policy enforcement.
Key Responsibilities:

Ensure adherence to employment law, as well as compliance with FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and other applicable areas of employment law.

Assist in designing, implementing, and administering Human Resources policies and responding to inquiries related to such policies.

Work with department managers to resolve employment-related issues.
-
Assist with employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
-
Ensure all union reporting is accurate and timely.
-
Maintain records of personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations.

Process biweekly payroll and handle all items related to the payroll process.
-
Manage leave of absences for all employees.
-
Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments.

Recruit, interview, and facilitate hiring for open positions.

Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

Regularly spend time on the Production Floor to be available to employees.
Qualifications:
Required
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Preferred
-
3+ years of Human Resource experience.

SHRM-CP.
-
Experience in the Manufacturing Industry.
