Maintenance Technician

Cable manufacturer in Ephrata, PA is looking for 2nd shift Maintenance Technicians. Multiple openings! Initial virtual interviews available ASAP with onsite interview and tour to follow!

Pay Range: $28-35/hr

Job Description:

This role is in a climate controlled facility and focuses on configuring, setting up, operating, and troubleshooting automated production equipment, with a strong emphasis on maintaining high levels of safety, quality, and equipment reliability. The Maintenance / Automation Technician performs regular inspections, replaces wear parts, and supports production goals by minimizing downtime and improving process efficiency on complex automatic cable assembly equipment.

Qualifications

• Set up and operate complex automatic production equipment to support daily production requirements.

• 2+ years of experience working with automated or industrial equipment preferred.

• Experience with PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.), HMIs and control systems required. Do not need to know how to program PLCs

• Experience with robotics preferred.

• Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills required.

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical blueprints required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Akron, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
