Job Title: Operations Manager

Job Description

In this leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of our operational processes. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including production, supply chain, logistics, and quality assurance, to drive efficiency, productivity, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge in operations management, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of successfully implementing operational strategies to achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of our operations, including production, supply chain, logistics, and quality assurance, ensuring smooth and efficient processes across the organization.

  • Take full ownership of one or more Value Streams.

  • Develop and implement operational strategies, goals, and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives.

  • Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize resource allocation.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement standardized operating procedures and best practices to ensure consistency and quality throughout all operations.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess operational performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.

  • Lead and inspire a team of operations professionals, providing clear direction, coaching, and development opportunities to foster a high-performance culture.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and quality requirements in all operational processes.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, to manage relationships, negotiate contracts, and drive operational excellence throughout the supply chain.

  • Implement effective inventory management practices to optimize inventory levels, minimize obsolescence, and ensure product availability.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and best practices in operations management, and proactively apply this knowledge to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in a relevant industry or manufacturing.

  • Strong knowledge of operations management principles, methodologies, and best practices.

  • Demonstrated experience in process optimization, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma).

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve high performance.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in using operational management software and tools to drive efficiency and productivity.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and external partners.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in operations management, business administration, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.

  • Certification in operations management (e.g., APICS, Lean Six Sigma) is a plus.

Work Environment

The work environment is very clean, with office casual dress attire and standard working hours. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and office space, located in Brooklyn Park. The company has continued to expand its facility and gain traction in different product and process spaces.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $150000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
