Full job description

Shift: 10:30 PM-7:00 AM

Hourly Rate: $23.12 an hour + $.30 shift differential

Reporting to the 3rd Shift Warehouse Team Lead, you will join Conagra Brands in Indianapolis, home of Reddi Wip and Blue Bonnet, to help meet the demands of customers across the country. You will work onsite at our manufacturing plant on West 62nd Street, where safety is our top priority. As part of our warehouse team, you will play a key role in moving products efficiently and accurately while maintaining a safe and collaborative environment.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

  • Operate sit-down forklifts, double-reach trucks, and pallet jacks to move products from production lines to the warehouse.
  • Hitch trucks to warehouse docks and stage pallets to support safe and efficient loading and unloading.
  • Change forklift batteries and operate shrink wrapping equipment, including installing new rolls of shrink wrap film.
  • Use inventory control devices to track inventory, make adjustments, perform cycle counts, and complete corrections.
  • Pick full and partial pallets for truck loading and unloading and transport supplies to production areas.
  • Record trailer temperature settings and manually document stock keeping unit and case counts for loose cases.
  • Verify code dates and case counts to maintain quality standards.
  • Perform work with speed and precision to meet schedules while maintaining compliance with safety, Safe Quality Food, and Good Manufacturing Practice requirements.
  • Maintain equipment certification proficiency through ongoing skills audits and job rotation.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Ingredients Required for Your Success

  • 1+ years of experience in a production, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
  • 1+ years of experience operating sit-down forklifts and stand-up reach trucks.
  • Experience using inventory tracking systems and performing inventory counts.
