Your role and responsibilities

As a Delivery Consultant specializing in Technology Expert Labs for GDPS on Z, you will provide clients with world-class services to optimize their GDPS system health and performance. This role involves analyzing system health, guiding clients on best practices, and identifying new features and functions.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Analyze System Health: Analyze clients' GDPS system health to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for optimization. This includes assessing system performance, identifying potential issues, and developing strategies for improvement.

  • Provide Best Practices Guidance: Guide clients on best practices for optimizing GDPS product performance, including configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting. This involves staying up-to-date with the latest product features and functions.

  • Identify New Features and Functions: Identify new features and functions available in GDPS and advise clients on how to leverage them to improve system performance and efficiency.

  • Deliver Client-Facing Services: Deliver world-class services to clients, including presenting findings, providing recommendations, and addressing client questions and concerns.

  • Collaborate with Clients: Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and develop tailored solutions to meet those needs.

Required technical and professional expertise

  • Exposure to GDPS System Analysis: Experience working with GDPS systems, analyzing system health, and identifying areas for improvement.

  • Familiarity with GDPS Best Practices: Exposure to best practices for optimizing GDPS product performance, including configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

  • Knowledge of GDPS Features and Functions: Experience working with GDPS features and functions, including identifying new features and advising on their use.

  • Client-Facing Service Delivery: Experience delivering services to clients, including presenting findings, providing recommendations, and addressing client questions and concerns.

  • Collaborative Solution Development: Exposure to collaborating with clients to understand their specific needs and develop tailored solutions.

Preferred technical and professional experience

  • GDPS Performance Optimization Techniques: Exposure to techniques for optimizing GDPS system performance, including configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

  • Advanced GDPS Feature Knowledge: Experience working with advanced GDPS features and functions, including identifying new features and advising on their use.

  • IT Service Delivery Methodologies: Exposure to methodologies for delivering world-class services to clients, including presenting findings, providing recommendations, and addressing client questions and concerns.
