Job Description

A large gas utility employer sitting in Los Angeles, CA is looking to hire a REMOTE Program Manager to support their time for 2+ years. This person will be required, on an as needed basis to go to different site locations (in the Southern California service territory) to interface with executives and other stakeholders in organizations such as Construction, Transmission, Distribution etc. Their company is looking to roll out an enterprise wide process that will be impacting multiple departments. He/she will assist with end to end processes that are already actively in place but need to be documented and put into a nice framework. For 50% of the time this person will be required to process support for the Enterprise wide process improvements related to high pressure valving and ensuring it's properly documented. The other 50% of the time this Program Manager will be responsible for building out dashboards using PowerBi and maintaining the current dashboard they already have in place, while managing the related program at a high level. This position is paying between $50-68/hour depending on years of experience and qualification.

Additional Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting activities from initiation through completion across multiple workstreams
  • Coordinating cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely execution
  • Monitoring program milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues
  • Tracking action items and facilitating follow-up activities
  • Developing and maintaining program documentation, process maps, procedures, and records
  • Supporting governance activities, status reporting, and leadership communications
  • Gathering, analyzing, and validating data to support decision-making and performance tracking
  • Preparing dashboards, presentations, and executive-level updates
  • Identifying process improvement opportunities and supporting implementation efforts
  • Assisting with change management, process standardization, and operational excellence initiatives
  • Coordinating meetings, workshops, stakeholder engagements, and communications
  • Supporting resource planning, workload tracking, and program execution activities

Skills and Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of Program Management, Project Management, or Business Process Improvement experience
  • Technical experience using Power BI (Intermediate level) for dashboard development and maintenance, KPI reporting
  • Experience using Visio for building out process workflows
  • Experience working in a utility, energy, gas, transmission, distribution, construction, infrastructure, or regulated environment
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including interaction with executives, operations leaders, engineering, construction, transmission, and distribution teams
  • Experience documenting and standardizing enterprise processes
