Responsibilities

The Manager of ICU has the primary responsibility for overseeing daily patient care operations for assigned areas. Required to frequently apply a set of management principles to a specialized discipline. Must be capable of independent judgment and decision making in the areas of budget, personnel, patient services and administrative or professional programs. Has twenty-four (24) hour accountability for assigned areas.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:1. B.S. degree in Nursing and a minimum of five (5) years nursing experience, with at least two (2) years in a supervisory or managerial capacity; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. 2. Good written and oral communication skills. PREFERRED:1. Master's degree in Nursing. 2. Two (2) years clinical experience in specialty area.

Work Hours: 7AM-3PM
