SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Responsible for administering advanced life support care on 911 emergency incidents and during transportation of patients.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

  • Current certification as a Paramedic or PHRN in the Commonwealth of PA or eligible for and completion of reciprocity process, if certified in another state.

  • AHA BLS required within six (6) months of hire.

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification and Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification within 30 days of start date.

  • Valid Driver's license or eligible for a Commonwealth of PA driver's license if out of state.

  • PA DOH EMSVO certification within 30 days of start date.

  • HazMat Awareness Training and NIMS (100, 200, 700, 800) required within 30 days of start date.

  • Must obtain Medical Command within 90 days of start date.
