DevOps Engineer

Job Description

Design and implement Configuration-as-Code solutions for Microsoft Entra ID environments. Build and maintain automated management processes for identity platform configurations. Migrate existing manually maintained Entra ID configurations into a governed, source-controlled model. Establish Git-based workflows where configuration changes are reviewed, approved, and deployed through pull request processes. Develop scalable automation solutions for: Conditional Access Policies Baseline Security Policies Identity Governance Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) Enterprise Applications Privileged Identity Management (PIM) Create repeatable deployment and configuration management processes aligned with enterprise audit and change-control requirements. Partner with security and platform engineering teams to define long-term automation strategies for identity services. Lead implementation efforts and ensure solutions are maintainable by the broader team after project completion. Evaluate and recommend Infrastructure-as-Code technologies such as Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, or similar platforms.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of experience in DevOps, Identity Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or a related discipline. Strong hands-on experience administering and configuring Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) in large enterprise environments (10,000+ users) Experience implementing Configuration-as-Code or Infrastructure-as-Code solutions. Strong experience automating Microsoft Entra ID environments using source-controlled workflows. Experience migrating manual ("click-ops") identity administration processes into automated, code-driven solutions. Deep understanding of enterprise identity and access management concepts Experience managing and automating: Conditional Access Identity Governance Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) Enterprise Applications Application Registrations Privileged Identity Management (PIM) Experience with one or more Infrastructure-as-Code technologies: Terraform Bicep ARM Templates Similar automation platforms Experience with Git-based source control and DevOps workflows Strong understanding of enterprise change management, code review, governance, and audit processes. Experience building platforms and automation frameworks, not solely managing users or performing day-to-day administration. Ability to lead technical implementation efforts and work cross-functionally with engineering, platform, and security teams. Experience implementing Microsoft Graph-based automation solutions. Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or CI/CD pipelines. Strong PowerShell automation experience. Experience designing Identity-as-Code or Platform-as-Code solutions from the ground up. Background supporting highly regulated or large-scale enterprise environments. Experience evaluating and selecting Infrastructure-as-Code tooling and architecture approaches. Experience leading enterprise migrations from manually managed identity platforms to automated, source-controlled environments
