Position Title
Telecommunications BIM Designer

In this role, you'll work with advanced design technologies, collaborate with skilled professionals, and support projects that have a tangible impact. Position Summary
As a Telecommunications BIM Designer, you'll support the design and development of telecommunications systems through Building Information Modeling (BIM) and digital design tools. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create accurate models and drawings that support project delivery, quality objectives, and client requirements.
Develop and maintain BIM models, drawings, and design documentation for telecommunications systems across a variety of projects. Coordinate closely with engineers, designers, and other disciplines to ensure integrated and clash-free designs. Support project teams by producing accurate deliverables that meet project schedules and quality standards. Participate in client discussions and design coordination meetings as needed. Contribute to project planning, design reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives. Apply BIM standards, industry best practices, and technical knowledge to resolve design challenges. Assist with model management, document control, and project reporting requirements. Share knowledge with team members and support the adoption of digital design tools and workflows. Help maintain a collaborative environment focused on innovation, efficiency, and technical excellence.
Here’s What You’ll Need:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology, Drafting, Design, Telecommunications, or a related field

Experience working with multidisciplinary teams delivering telecommunications, infrastructure, or building projects

Proficiency with BIM and CAD software tools, such as Revit, AutoCAD, or similar platforms

Knowledge of telecommunications systems, design documentation, and BIM workflows

Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
Ideally, you’ll also have:

Professional certification related to BIM, CAD, or telecommunications design

Experience working with data centers, transportation, federal, commercial, or other complex facilities projects

Familiarity with telecommunications standards, structured cabling systems, and network infrastructure design

Experience supporting BIM coordination, clash detection, and digital project delivery processes
