Job Title: Engineering Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in installing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems and components for renewable energy solutions. Your expertise will help ensure our projects meet safety standards and are completed efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Install, test, and maintain electrical systems and components for renewable energy solutions.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics.

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety standards.

  • Collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure timely and accurate installations.

  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues on-site.

  • Document work performed and maintain accurate records.

Essential Skills

  • High school diploma or GED; technical certification or associate degree in electrical technology preferred.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical installation or related field.

  • Valid Florida Electrical License or ability to obtain one.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Familiarity with solar, battery storage, or other renewable energy systems is a plus.

  • Willingness to travel 5-10 times a year within the US to installation sites.

  • Experience with electrical wiring, PCB, testing, oscilloscopes, electrical testing equipment, micrometers, blueprints, hand tools, and troubleshooting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Miami, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
