Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FACILITIES MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Public Works Department (PWD), a forward deployed component of the Integrated Product Team (IPT) of Naval Facilities Engineering Command Europe, Africa and Southwest Asia (NAVSUPPACT NAPLES), Naples, Italy. Responsibilities You will direct and control all Public Works efforts, overseeing work induction, service desk operations, client liaison functions, and the Infrastructure Condition Assessment Program to support the site's mission. You will manage all aspects of your team, including assigning work, setting priorities, establishing deadlines, developing performance plans, and managing recruitment and training for a diverse workforce. You will manage the Work Induction System (WIS), coordinating the budget, development, and prioritization of Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization (SRM) execution plans and developing the annual Installation Maintenance Action Plan. You will be responsible for formulating budget requirements, managing payroll and training, monitoring production funding, and ensuring reimbursable funds are received to avoid unfunded commitments. You will provide guidance and oversight for Service Desk operations, ensuring emergency, routine, and urgent call processes are followed, and will analyze data to identify opportunities for process and facility improvements. You will plan, develop, and implement the Preventive Maintenance (PM) program, which includes scheduling inspections and surveys of all facilities and equipment to detect deficiencies and initiate corrective action. You will perform continuous review of management data to analyze and correct deficiencies, develop internal management aids, and utilize the MAXIMO work management system to provide workload and analysis reports. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Coordinating activities of engineers and/or engineering technicians responsible for performing essential tasks to provide facility management and sustainment support to the installation; 2) Overseeing the development of execution plans in carrying out its mission regarding facility management and cost reduction; 3) Operating database programs designed for facility management and work control (i.e. Single Platform MAXIMO (SPM), Working Capital Fund (WCF) and General Fund (GF) and Work Induction System (WIS)) to execute work; AND 4) Utilizing existing Facility Support Contracts to complete facility sustainment or restoration project execution.
