What you'll do...

Role summary:

The Senior Manager, Consumer Electronics Product Development leads the strategy, HARDWARE development, and commercialization of innovative consumer home entertainment products. This role owns the full product lifecycle, from concept development and market assessment through launch and post-launch optimization. The ideal candidate brings proven experience developing consumer electronics hardware and driving cross-functional collaboration across engineering, merchandising, sourcing, supply chain, and brand teams. Responsible for delivering customer-focused solutions, this leader leverages market insights, product strategy, and project management expertise to accelerate innovation, drive business growth, and bring high-quality products to market that strengthen competitive advantage, enhance the customer experience, and build brand loyalty.

About the team:

Our team specializes in developing innovative, high-quality products within the Consumer Electronics category, delivering seamless and intuitive customer experiences. We lead hardware development from concept to commercialization by integrating consumer insights, product strategy, and engineering expertise. Collaborating cross-functionally with Merchandising, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Packaging, Brand Strategy, and Consumer Insights, we create products that balance innovation, quality, accessibility, and value. The team requires experience in consumer audio product development, including hardware design, engineering, and product lifecycle management, to consistently exceed customer expectations.

What you'll do:

  • Lead product development initiatives by managing communications with internal and external partners to ensure alignment and timely delivery.

  • Oversee product lifecycle management, including specification development, quality assurance, and issue resolution through root cause analysis.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support sourcing activities, validate documentation, and ensure compliance with business strategies.

  • Drive product strategy by conducting market research, benchmarking trends, and recommending enhancements to meet customer needs and financial goals.

  • Manage multiple business plans and projects, removing obstacles and adjusting performance to achieve objectives.

  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a high-performing, collaborative work environment.

What you'll bring:

  • Extensive experience in hardware product development and lifecycle management, ensuring alignment with business strategies and customer needs.

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects from concept through delivery.

  • Strong skills in project management, strategic partnership development, and business strategy execution.

  • Expertise in conducting root cause analysis, resolving product issues, and driving continuous improvement.

  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated leadership in mentoring, coaching, and developing high-performing teams.

  • Analytical mindset with experience in benchmarking, data analysis, and performance tracking to inform decision-making.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
