Job Description
AECOM is seeking a FP&A Analyst who will be responsible for analyzing, budgeting, reporting, and long-range planning for the Corporate FP&A function. In this role, the selected candidate will support the development and achievement of the organization's goals and objectives by providing accurate, insightful and timely finance support and analysis.
This position will offer flexibility for hybrid work schedules (including both in-office presence and telecommute/virtual) to be based in the Orange, CA area.
Reporting to the Corporate Sr. Finance Manager, the Analyst serves as a key finance business partner supporting Corporate Functions (e.g., HR, IT, Legal, Finance, and other G&A organizations). The role is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, headcount planning, and management reporting to drive informed business decisions and ensure effective cost management. The position plays an integral role in the quarterly forecast process, earnings support, long-range planning, and executive reporting cycles. In addition to core FP&A responsibilities, the role delivers strategic and ad hoc financial analyses, supports special projects, and provides actionable insights to senior leadership on business performance, resource allocation, and organizational priorities.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- BA/BS plus at least 4 years of relevant financial and/or accounting experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred Qualifications

Experience creating financial models, reporting tools, and analytical solutions to support budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and strategic decision-making.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present financial information to senior leadership.

High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Point

The ability to perform detail-oriented work in a fast-paced environment and respond to quick, turn-around deadlines

Able to multitask, work independently, and effectively manage time

Works well in a team environment and collaborate with others to accomplish departmental and company objectives

Prior experience working with a large, complex, global company

Working knowledge of Hyperion, Oracle, TM1 and IBM Insight programs a plus

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $90000 to $125000.
