Full job description
Who We Are Founded in 2024, Ares Interactive is a privately held company built by a group of experienced leaders and veterans from some of the most respected organizations in interactive entertainment. Our team brings deep expertise across game development, publishing, and live operations, and shares a commitment to building exceptional player experiences.
We are growing and looking for talented individuals who want to help shape the future of our company. We believe great people are our most important asset. We work with passion and purpose, while supporting one another with professionalism and respect, creating an environment where everyone can do their best work.
About the role Ares Interactive is looking for a Senior Producer of Live Operations on Baseball Hits 26. You are a high-energy, hands-on doer who has proven you can coordinate and help lead live ops teams to consistently ship high-quality, bug-free data and product updates. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role that will shape the vision and continued success of the product, reporting to the Sr. Director of Product on the 7th Inning Studio team. If you have a passion for gaming, love baseball, and want to be part of a successful game studio, we would love to hear from you.
What you'll do
- Own the live ops data process end to end — planning, tracking, coordination, validation, and merging to production — identifying issues and driving them to resolution.
- Own the live ops calendar — planning, updates, external communication, and keeping the sources of truth current for all stakeholders.
- Be the team’s first responder on live issues — the point person for external groups, tracking and escalating appropriately and keeping all parties updated on status.
- Build long-term plans with the live ops team — content and testing roadmaps beyond the current cycle.
- Provide ad hoc support wherever the live ops team needs it.
Requirements & Background
- 5+ years of production experience on mobile F2P live-service products.
- 2+ years as a key stakeholder on Production, Development Director, or Live Ops teams.
- Proven ability to prioritize and juggle multiple projects at once.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented: you follow process, spot errors with meticulous care, and immediately fix anything out of place, no matter how small.
- Self-motivated team player who jumps in to help with anything that makes the team or product succeed.
- Strong skills with Microsoft Office and similar tools, and the ability to learn new tools quickly.
Nice to Have
- Deep knowledge of and passion for baseball — players, teams, parks, strategy, culture, and current events.
- Demonstrated ability to apply rigor to large data sets and to absorb complex concepts and frameworks quickly.
- Deep understanding of free-to-play games and their meta-game systems; in-depth knowledge of sports games.
- Experience with the Unity game engine.
- Experience using AI tools to improve workflows.
Perks & Benefits
- Flexible time off policy with unlimited PTO
- Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage
- 401K/RRSP
- Remote-friendly with support for home office set up
- Company Holidays including office closure between Christmas and New Year
- Collaborative, data-driven, and fun culture where your work makes an impact
