Job Description

We are seeking an experienced EPC Project Manager to support a leading nuclear engineering and construction provider in the power generation space. This role will serve as the technical lead for nuclear power plants and play a major role in project execution. Leading projects up to $1B in value, this individual will play a pivotal role for the power line of business and for the organization as a whole. Their responsibilities include: Original proposal development and management Management of engineering teams to produce proposals Depending on project can be leading anywhere between 20-200 individuals with matrixed reporting structure (oversight of engineering directors for all disciplines) Would juggle 2-3 smaller projects during engineering conceptual design, but focus on single projects when they get to detailed design and field activities Coordination with procurement for materials on power plant projects Collaboration with the preconstruction team for development of cost estimates, schedules, budgeting projects, etc. Developing engineering designs from concept --> detailed design --> field execution. Issuing or approving reqs for sub-contractor support Overseeing construction managers, subcontractors, or internal self-perform resources Oversight of overall field execution Time spent in office vs. field is close to 50/50 split Travel required up to 50% of the time Time breakdown is client management/communication 20% - engineering management 20% - preconstruction 25% - field oversight 35%

Skills and Requirements

BS degree in engineering 10 total years of experience between engineering/construction working on projects minimum of $50M At least 5 of these years have to come within power plant engineering/construction PE License Nuclear specific power plant EPC experience
