Summary This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Interested applicants must follow the directions in the "How to Apply" section of this flyer to be considered. There may or may not be actual vacancies filled from this flyer. Notice of Result letters will not be sent to applicants who respond to this flyer. Responsibilities You will format, organize, and input a variety of production and performance data on a continuing basis for on-going operations. You will prepare charts showing a wide variety of data for briefings. You will assist Housing Management Assistants with check in-check out procedures and inputting results of inspections of quarters using the Enterprise Military Housing (EMH) system. You will support Housing Management Assistants with verification and validation of applicants for eligibility and housing referrals. You will prepare correspondence utilizing various formats such as the Navy Correspondence Manual. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Receiving phone calls, greeting visitors, and responding to requests for information; 2) Assisting with housing check in-check out procedures and 3) Using two or more types of software, e.g., word processing and timekeeping management, to create different types of documents, tables, and reports. This position requires the ability to type at least 45 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education N/A Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if the selectee fails to meet the pre-employment requirements, including failure to report to any of the scheduled appointments. A relocation incentive is generally a single payment intended to offset some of the relocation costs experienced by the selectee. A relocation incentive may be authorized. Certain incentives (such as Recruitment, Relocation or Student Loan Repayment) may be authorized to eligible selectees. PCS costs will not be authorized.
