NOW HIRING Certified Personal Care Aides! ElderChoice also provides the 6 hour ACD (Alternative Competency Demonstration) training to all qualified candidates who are current CNAs or who have recent experience in Home Care (including CDPA staff)!

Position: Social Day Program Support Staff
Job Objective: The purpose of the Social Day Program (SDP) Support Staff is to assist the SDP Supervisor and SDP Director in the implementation of daily activities that directly contribute to individual participant goals; facilitate individual participant growth and independence; complete all required documentation, and contribute to the general maintenance and upkeep of the facility.
Supervisor: Structured Day Program Supervisor
Essential Functions:
Exhibit compassion, understanding, and patience to/for all program participants
Ensure that all activities are conducted safely and contribute to the goals of each individual
Facilitate individual and group activities, based on the daily schedule of events, as well as individual choice.
Complete daily service notes utilizing the agency’s Medisked system.
Participate in all scheduled duties pertaining to the general maintenance and upkeep of the facility
Facilitate social, educational, interpersonal, and daily living skill development to individuals within individual and group settings
Treat all individuals with dignity and respect; encourage and maintain all appropriate professional boundaries.
Maintain appropriate program records in a manner that respects confidentiality.
Attend all required training sessions (including: basic orientation and annual service specific)
