We are seeking a Experimentation Manager, Marketing to support the Commercial Cloud and AI business by improving priority customer journeys through experimentation, analytics, personalization, and disciplined execution. This individual contributor role sits at the intersection of customer intent, business strategy, web experience optimization, analytics, and experimentation. You will partner with the digital marketing managers to identify growth opportunities, prioritize tests, and scale proven improvements that increase engagement, conversion, lead generation, pipeline influence, and revenue outcomes. This candidate will have sound analytical and business judgment, effective cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to turn customer and performance insights into clear recommendations and measurable results.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Commercial Cloud portfolio by identifying opportunities to improve priority Microsoft.com customer journeys.

  • Partner with business stakeholders to translate goals, customer needs, and performance gaps into a focused growth and experimentation backlog.

  • Develop clear hypotheses, test plans, success measures, and business rationale for prioritized experiments.

  • Coordinate with UX, Analytics, Development, Product Marketing, and Site Management partners to launch high-quality tests and journey improvements.

  • Use analytics, customer research, behavioral insights, telemetry, and experiment results to evaluate performance and identify actionable opportunities.

  • Analyze results and communicate concise recommendations, implications, and next steps to business and cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Document and share learnings, contribute to experimentation governance, and reuse proven practices across relevant Commercial Cloud journeys.

  • Manage day-to-day execution with agency or vendor partners as needed, escalating risks and trade-offs while keeping work aligned to business priorities.

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 3+ years experience in experimentation, analytics, digital marketing, product management, web strategy, growth strategy, or a related field

  • OR equivalent experience.

Additional or preferred qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 2+ yearsin experimentation, analytics, digital marketing, product management, web strategy, growth strategy, or a related field

  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 5+ years in experimentation, analytics, digital marketing, product management, web strategy, growth strategy, or a related field

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • Experience developing hypotheses and designing, launching, or evaluating A/B tests.

  • 5+ years of experience in experimentation, analytics, digital marketing, product management, web strategy, growth strategy, or a related field.

  • Experience optimizing customer journeys, digital products, or commercial web experiences.

  • Experience with experimentation platforms, web analytics, customer insights, conversion optimization, or personalization.

  • Experience supporting AI, cloud, business applications, or another complex technology business.

  • Experience working across a large, matrixed organization and coordinating with agencies, vendors, or distributed teams.

Integrated Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
