Salary Range: $27.23 To $27.23 Hourly

Position Overview: The PYA Coach/Case Aid provides mentor support to adolescents preparing to leave Children’s Village residential programs. The PYA coach/case aid works to recruit, engage, and support the young people in progressing towards their education, work, and savings goals. The Coach will assist in running workshops monthly where youth participating in the program will strengthen their independent living skills.

Knowledge of city-wide community resources is required. Coaches will be responsible for organizing group meals for each group session, community activities, advocacy, 1:1 coaching, and assisting in areas of social, education, employment, permanency, with emphasis on social and networking development.

Position Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work preferred. Prior work experience in social service, mental health or child welfare field preferred. Driver’s license. Solid written and verbal skills, including ability to successfully manage multiple tasks. Bi-lingual preferred.
