Kit Production Coordinator

Location: West Chester, Ohio

Pay: $20.35 per hour

Shift: Tuesday–Saturday, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM (Night Shift)

Training Schedule: Monday–Friday during training; transition to Tuesday–Saturday schedule in mid-to-late October

Work Environment: 100% Office-Based

Position Summary

The Kit Production Coordinator supports global kit production, distribution, and order fulfillment by ensuring supplies are processed accurately and in a timely manner.

This position provides a high level of support, service, reliability, and availability to external kit vendors and internal departments. The Kit Production Coordinator works closely with the Kit Production team, vendors, and internal partners to ensure kits are assembled, quality-checked, labeled, and shipped according to study specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with global kit production, distribution, and order fulfillment.

  • Assemble and pack laboratory kits according to study kit specifications.

  • Perform quality control checks on assembled kits.

  • Complete order fulfillment and shipping activities.

  • Perform labeling activities and other tasks related to kit production.

  • Assist with loading and unloading activities.

  • Provide supplies and shipping support to internal departments and external kit vendors.

  • Support the resolution of Kit Vendor Quality Events, including:

  • Incorrect documents

  • Failure to release orders

  • Inaccurate information

  • Guideline discrepancies or updates

  • Incorrect items being sent

  • Kit-building errors

  • Overdue orders

  • Support information sharing within the GSS department.

  • Occasionally attend weekly kitting vendor operational meetings.

  • Support flexible tasks within GSS and Sample Management.

  • Maintain confidentiality of client protocols and study data.

  • Follow applicable procedures and quality requirements while completing assigned activities.

Education & Experience

  • High school/secondary school diploma or equivalent, plus relevant formal academic or vocational qualification.

  • Previous experience providing the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the job, comparable to at least 2 years of experience .

Physical & Work Requirements

  • Frequent mobility, including standing, twisting at the waist, squatting, and bending.

  • Ability to lift and carry materials as required.

  • Exposure to fluctuating temperatures.

  • Exposure to potentially infectious and hazardous substances.

  • Ability to work the assigned Tuesday–Saturday night shift following completion of training.

Reporting Structure

Reports to: Supervisor, Kit Production

Schedule Details

Regular Schedule:

Tuesday–Saturday | 2:30 PM–11:00 PM

Training Schedule:

Monday–Friday

Schedule Transition:

The employee will begin training on a Monday–Friday schedule and transition to the regular Tuesday–Saturday schedule in mid-to-late October .

Pay Details: $20.35 per hour
