Description

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Key Accounts Project Lead to support key customer relationships and manage projects from concept through completion. This role serves as the primary operational point of contact for assigned accounts and is responsible for coordinating customer initiatives, managing timelines, facilitating communication across departments, and ensuring projects are delivered accurately and on schedule.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. They possess strong communication skills, a solutions-driven mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners. This individual will work closely with Sales, Design, Production, Operations, and Customer Service to ensure seamless project execution and an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and follow-up activities for assigned customer accounts.

  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts between Sales, Design, Production, Operations, and Customer Service teams.

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for key account projects and operational support.

  • Communicate project updates, approvals, timelines, and next steps to stakeholders.

  • Track project status, maintain documentation, and ensure accountability for deliverables.

  • Coordinate product information, order activity, pricing updates, and customer requests.

  • Anticipate challenges and proactively resolve issues before they impact project timelines or customer satisfaction.

  • Maintain accurate records of account activity, project revisions, approvals, and communications.

  • Support process improvements and ensure projects are executed efficiently from start to finish.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred

  • 3-5 years of experience in account management, account coordination, project coordination, sales operations, customer service, or customer-facing project management

  • Experience managing multiple accounts, projects, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously

  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook

  • Experience with CRM systems; HubSpot experience preferred

  • Experience with ERP systems; Sage experience is a plus

  • Experience with project management software such as Smartsheet or similar platforms preferred

  • Familiarity with order management, pricing, approvals, change management, and customer documentation

  • Experience maintaining product data, SKU information, and account records preferred

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Design, Production, Operations, and Customer Service teams

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and solution-oriented approach

  • Ability to work independently, take ownership of responsibilities, and manage projects from start to finish

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities

  • Experience in a manufacturing, wholesale, consumer products, creative, or product-based environment preferred

  • Professional, customer-focused, and team-oriented demeanor

  • Must be able to work onsite in La Mirada, CA, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
