Full job description

Description We are looking for an experienced tax and treasury leader to guide a growing corporate function in San Francisco, California. This senior-level opportunity is ideal for someone who can shape global tax and cash management strategy while supporting expansion, operational scale, and cross-border financial activities. The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership across corporate tax, treasury operations, liquidity planning, and banking relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the company’s corporate tax and treasury activities, establishing frameworks, controls, and priorities that support long-term business growth.

  • Direct global cash planning efforts by managing liquidity strategy, forecasting cash needs, and improving visibility into capital availability across the organization.

  • Oversee domestic and international tax matters, including corporate income tax compliance, annual tax provision activities, and transfer pricing coordination.

  • Manage relationships with banking partners and financial institutions to strengthen international banking operations and support efficient cash management practices.

  • Partner with executive leadership on mergers, acquisitions, and global expansion initiatives by assessing tax exposure, treasury implications, and integration needs.

  • Build and enhance scalable processes for tax reporting, treasury operations, and compliance to support a growing and evolving business environment.

  • Provide leadership across finance-related functions by aligning tax and treasury priorities with broader operational and strategic objectives.

  • Support the effective use of financial systems and tools, including NetSuite and tax compliance platforms, to improve reporting accuracy and process efficiency. Requirements • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience across tax, treasury, and corporate finance functions.

  • Strong expertise in corporate tax compliance, annual income tax provision, and corporate income tax reporting.

  • Demonstrated success developing or leading global treasury strategy, including liquidity planning, cash forecasting, and cash management.

  • Experience handling international tax matters, transfer pricing, and treasury operations in a multi-entity or cross-border environment.

  • Proven ability to support mergers and acquisitions, business expansion, and process scaling within a growing organization.

  • Working knowledge of corporate tax rules related to ASC 740 or comparable corporate tax accounting standards.

  • Experience with financial and tax technology tools, including NetSuite, ATX Tax Software, or similar compliance software.

  • Background in the technology sector is advantageous.
