Full job description

Employment Type: Full timeShift: Evening Shift Description: Tues - Sat 1230p-9p + rotating weekends and holidaysPOSITION TITLE: Ultrasound Technologist

MISSION STATEMENT: We, St Joseph's Health and Trinity Health, serve together in the spirit of the Gospel as a compassionate and transforming healing presence within our communities.

POSITION SUMMARY: Performs imaging procedures. Provides patient services imaging modalities.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE: Satisfactory completion of formal imaging training in an AMA approved school and meets requirements of American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers, and/or New York State Department of Health Licensure required.

Participates in orientation and continuing education and updates and maintains knowledge and skills related to specific areas of expertise. Completes population specific competency annually on populations served as identified in scope of care and service.

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT, SKILLS OR OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Demonstrated mechanical and/or electrical dexterity and ability.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND HAZARDS: Clinical setting. Exposure Class I.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Medium work: standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling.

Pay Range: $39.45-59.20 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
