Description
We are looking for an experienced Corporate Attorney to support complex dispute matters in Peachtree City, Georgia. This role focuses on managing litigation and arbitration proceedings, developing case strategies, and advocating for the organization in civil matters. The ideal candidate brings sound judgment, strong written advocacy, and the ability to move cases forward efficiently in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders from inception to trial.
Responsibilities:

Lead civil litigation and arbitration matters from early case assessment through resolution, trial, or hearing preparation.

Prepare persuasive legal documents, including motions, briefs, pleadings, and other filings required in contested matters.

Direct discovery efforts by developing strategy, reviewing evidence, drafting responses, and coordinating document production.

Analyze legal risk, evaluate claims and defenses, and recommend practical approaches aligned with business objectives.

Work closely with internal teams, outside counsel, and relevant stakeholders to gather facts and support case development.

Represent the organization in dispute resolution proceedings, settlement discussions, and other litigation-related activities.

Monitor case deadlines, procedural requirements, and developments to ensure matters progress effectively and in compliance with court or arbitral rules.
Requirements

Licensed attorney in good standing with the ability to practice in the state of Georgia.

At least 5 years of experience handling civil litigation matters in a law firm or corporate legal environment.

Demonstrated background in litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution strategy.

Strong experience drafting motions, briefs, pleadings, and other legal advocacy materials.

Hands-on knowledge of discovery processes, including document review, written responses, and evidence management.

Excellent legal research, analytical, negotiation, and written communication skills.
