Full job description

POSITION PURPOSE

The Supervisor, Clinical support oversees daily workflows for the LPN/Tech team and supports program development, team performance, and effective operational leadership. This role establishes clear expectations, monitors productivity, supports professional growth, and serves as a departmental resource for the clinical support staff, member outreach, scheduling and related clinical operations processes.

How You Contribute to the Company’s Mission In This Role

  • Provide direct supervision, coaching, education, and ongoing training to the LPN/Tech team to support quality, productivity, and consistent performance.

  • Monitor daily workflows, productivity metrics, time and attendance, and performance expectations; provide timely follow-up and performance improvement support when needed.

  • Lead employee engagement and professional development through regular team meetings, 1:1 conversations, delegation of appropriate responsibilities, and clear communication.

  • Partner with department leadership on staffing, weekly work assignments, workflow groupings, hiring decisions, interviews, onboarding, and training for new team members.

  • Develop, implement, and reassess workflow and program improvement strategies that support positive patient outcomes, operational effectiveness, and company goals.

  • Support provider visit operations as needed, including scheduling outreach, gathering patient history, medication review support, triage support, screenings, EMR documentation, and member information transfer across systems.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required

  • Current, unrestricted LPN license in the state of Louisiana and/or in the required jurisdictions, or where services are provided required

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an LPN.

  • Minimum of 2 years of proven leadership or people management experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead employees in a supportive manner that recognizes individual strengths and supports ongoing skill development.

  • Ability to delegate, prioritize, and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively and fairly with all levels of staff.

  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to navigate multiple computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Valid, unencumbered Louisiana State issued driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience coordinating clinical support workflows, provider visit operations, scheduling, member outreach, or EMR documentation processes.

  • Experience supporting program development, workflow improvement, or implementation of new procedures within a clinical operations environment.

  • This role generally works 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; overtime and travel may be required and reimbursed according to travel policy.

  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 lbs.
