Our systems engineering team provides the strategic oversight and digital architecture needed to modernize the U.S. ICBM weapon system. As a Support Equipment Senior Systems Engineer, you will embark on a long-term career dedicated to the Sentinel program, ensuring the critical ground support infrastructure is ready for the next generation of ballistic missiles. In this job, you will use Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) to evaluate the design of Major Maintenance Vehicles and other essential support equipment.

Your Responsibilities

As a Support Equipment Senior Systems Engineer, your primary goal is to provide expert guidance and oversight throughout the acquisition lifecyclefrom initial planning and development to testing and sustainment. Your day-to-day functions will include:

  • Architecture Development: Creating and reviewing MBSE architecture products using tools like Cameo, DOORS, and SysML.

  • Design Oversight: Reviewing support equipment design, production, and testing documentation to ensure technical suitability.

  • Systems Integration: Orchestrating complex systems integration, requirement flow, and interface definitions.

  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborating with government customers and internal teams to present data, conduct risk assessments, and evaluate schedule impacts.#ASFS

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Required Education & Experience

  • Bachelor s degree or higher in a STEM field (or equivalent experience).

  • 7 years of experience in an engineering role (5 years with a Master s degree).

  • Experience with engineering/MBSE modeling tools, e.g., DOORS, SysML, MATLAB, Cameo, Jira.

  • Demonstrated proficiency with requirements decomposition concepts and tools.

  • US DoD Secret security clearance.

  • Must be eligible for Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, evaluate alternatives and implement solutions.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards.

  • Possess a willingness to learn while also sharing your current knowledge/skills.

  • Values innovative approaches, brainstorming and changing the status quo.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Experience with ICBM Weapon Systems and DoD acquisition programs.

  • Proficiency with MBSE modeling tools (DOORS, SysML, MATLAB, Cameo, Jira).

  • Proven ability to navigate complex project environments and manage changing priorities.

  • Current SAP.

  • Current TS/SCI.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $107359 - $182510

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
