RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and develop mechanical systems, components, and assemblies in accordance with project requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define mechanical requirements and specifications.
Perform mechanical analysis and simulations to ensure product performance and reliability.
Document and present analytical results in design reviews and technical reports.
Report to: Director of Engineering
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Work Schedule: M-F hybrid (3 days onsite and 2 remote after 90 days)
YOU MUST HAVE
-
Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discIpline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics

Minimum 2 years of engineering experience in turbine engines or electric motor/generator applications
WE VALUE

Bachelors in mechanical engineering or aerospace engineering

Understanding and application of disciplines in high speed machinery for one or more of these areas:
-
Bearings
-
Gears & splines
-
Air & oil seals
-
Lubrication systems
-
Familiarity with mechanical systems for gas turbine engines or electric motors / generators
-
Strong oral, written and persuasive communication skills are required to interact with engineering teams and other disciplines.

Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams to meet expectations of internal customers.

Under minimal supervision, ensure that tasks are appropriately defined, supported, and achieved in a timely manner.

Ability to juggle many priorities and competing demands easily and effectively
