Position Summary...

The Senior Partner, Advertising Sales at Walmart Connect leads the development and execution of tailored advertising solutions that align with customer needs and business objectives. This role requires collaboration across multiple teams to drive revenue growth, optimize financial performance, and implement strategic sales initiatives. The position emphasizes data-driven decision-making, problem-solving, and relationship management to foster strong client partnerships. Additionally, it involves mentoring associates, promoting ethical standards, and supporting continuous improvement to enhance overall team effectiveness and contribute to Walmart’s mission of delivering value to customers. About the team: The Meat & Deli team collaborates with leading food brands to drive growth in Walmart’s protein, deli, and meal solution sectors. Utilizing customer insights, data, and innovative advertising strategies, the team delivers measurable business outcomes. With strong category expertise and strategic partnerships, they support suppliers in expanding household reach, increasing unit sales, and accelerating digital adoption. Acting as trusted advisors, the team translates customer behavior into actionable growth opportunities, fostering productive, results-driven relationships that benefit Walmart and its partners across the business.

What you'll do...

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tailored advertising solutions that meet customer needs and drive business growth. Communicate effectively across departments to align sales strategies and incorporate a variety of inputs. Manage financial outcomes by overseeing revenue generation, budgeting, and cost efficiency within assigned areas. Utilize data and metrics to analyze challenges, identify root causes, and implement effective sales solutions. Build and maintain strong client relationships while fostering a positive and professional work environment. Lead and develop associates through coaching, mentoring, and performance management to enhance team success. Drive execution of business plans by removing obstacles, setting priorities, and adapting strategies as needed.

Proven ability to develop and implement effective advertising sales strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability. Strong cross-functional collaboration skills to engage and align teams toward common business objectives. Expertise in leveraging data and metrics to analyze challenges, identify root causes, and develop actionable solutions. Demonstrated leadership in mentoring, coaching, and developing team members to achieve high performance. Excellent communication skills to articulate plans, priorities, and feedback across multiple departments. Experience managing financial results, including budgeting and cost efficiency, to support organizational goals. The annual salary range for this position is $99,000.00 - $198,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related area.

Option 2: Master’s degree in advertising, marketing, business, or related area.

Option 3: 5 years’ experience in brand advertising (for example, television, video, sponsorship), media sales, customer acquisition and growth, search, mobile, or online sales.

5 years’ experience in shopper marketing sales, eCommerce sales, or retail advertising sales.

5 years’ experience managing client accounts.

5 years’ experience as a strategic advisor working with C-suite clients.
