Highlights of your role:
Responsible for the co-coordination of LifeCare’s organizational volunteer program. Includes recruitment, training and supervision of volunteers. As part of the Volunteer Services department will be involved with community events and activities.

What you’ll get to do in this role:
Recruits and trains community members to be quality volunteers.
Effectively match volunteer opportunities with skills and interests of volunteers.
Maintain volunteer files based on regulations.
Maintain processes to evaluate volunteer performance and knowledge.
Provides leadership in the management of the Gift and Coffee shop.
Coordination of volunteer hospice services
You’re an excellent fit, if you have:

high school degree

1 year or more of experience in working as a volunteer or supervising

strong interpersonal skills

good supervisory & organizational skills

excellent communication skills
-
creative abilities
-
high degree of self-motivation
