Position Description & Qualifications
The Military Spouse Fellowship Program Associate is a detail-oriented professional participating in a structured fellowship designed to develop knowledge and experience in program operations, transition management, project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and business processes. Through hands-on training and mentorship, the Fellow will collaborate with functional teams across the organization to support operational initiatives, customer engagement, workforce transition activities, travel administration, invoicing processes, and project management efforts. This role provides exposure to corporate functions and business operations while building foundational skills in program management, communication, and organizational effectiveness.
This fellowship is designed to provide meaningful professional experience that supports career growth while developing foundational skills for future roles in program management, operations, business administration, and corporate support functions.
Key Responsibilities
Transition Management Support

Assist with workforce and program transition activities under the guidance of program leaders.

Support onboarding, offboarding, and personnel transition processes.

Track transition milestones, deliverables, and action items.

Maintain accurate records and documentation related to transition activities.
Corporate Functional Area Collaboration
-
Partner with Human Resources, Finance, Contracts, Security, Recruiting, and Operations teams to support program objectives.

Coordinate requests and follow-up actions between departments.
-
Assist in gathering information, compiling reports, and supporting cross-functional initiatives.
-
Participate in meetings and document key decisions, actions, and follow-up requirements.
Project Management Support
-
Support project planning, scheduling, and status tracking activities.
-
Monitor action items, deadlines, and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
-
Prepare project documentation, meeting agendas, and status reports.
-
Assist with process improvement efforts and workflow coordination.
Partner and Stakeholder Engagement

Support communication and engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
-
Coordinate meetings, conference calls, and exchange information.
-
Maintain professional relationships with customers, partners, and team members.
-
Assist in the preparation of presentations, briefings, and communication materials.
Financial and Invoicing Support
-
Assist with invoice tracking, reconciliation, and supporting documentation review.
-
Coordinate with Finance and program teams to ensure completeness and accuracy of billing information.

Maintain organized records of financial transactions and related documentation.
-
Support reporting and administrative activities related to program finances.
Travel Review and Authorization Support
-
Review travel requests for completeness and compliance with company policies.
-
Assist with travel authorization and approval workflows.
-
Track travel documentation and reimbursement submissions.
-
Coordinate with travelers and approvers to resolve discrepancies and obtain required information.
Administrative and Operational Support

Maintain accurate records, databases, and tracking tools.
-
Organize electronic files and documentation in accordance with company procedures.
-
Prepare reports, spreadsheets, meeting notes, and correspondence.
-
Perform other duties and developmental assignments as required.
Required Qualifications
-
Military Spouses eligible for participation in SpouseWorks fellowship program.

High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams).

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across diverse teams.
-
Demonstrated professionalism, initiative, and willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications

Previous administrative, project coordination, customer service, or business operations experience.

Exposure to project management principles or business processes.

Experience supporting geographically dispersed teams.

Familiarity with government contracting or corporate environments.

Salary range: The range for this position can be found at the top of this posting. This range is provided as a general guideline and represents a good faith estimate across all experience levels. Actual base salary will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the scope of the role, relevant experience, job-related knowledge, education and training, key skills, and geographic market considerations. For roles available in multiple states, the range may vary to reflect differences in local labor markets. In addition to base salary, eligible positions may include other forms of compensation such as annual bonuses or long-term incentive opportunities.
