Day-to-Day

• Gather business and developer requirements and translate them into technical specifications

• Define API and MCP product requirements, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria

• Create business cases and technical solution recommendations

• Own backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and roadmap sequencing

• Partner with architects and engineers on technical tradeoffs, integrations, and platform design

• Serve as the primary contact for developers consuming APIs and MCP tools

• Coordinate with security, platform, and engineering teams on rollout and adoption

• Support AI-enabled and agent-based platform initiatives

• Manage a portfolio of enterprise assets including APIs, authentication services, portals, and integrations

• Drive delivery while holding teams accountable to quality and sprint commitments

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Product Delivery Lead for a leading healthcare technology client. This role sits at the intersection of Product Ownership, Business Analysis, and Technical Product Management, supporting Zelis' API and MCP platform initiatives. The ideal candidate will translate business and developer needs into clear technical requirements, own the backlog and roadmap, and partner closely with engineering teams to deliver agentic-ready tools, APIs, and integrations. This individual should be technically fluent enough to understand API/MCP specifications, architecture tradeoffs, and engineering estimates, while driving requirements, prioritization, and delivery. Coding is not required, but strong technical credibility and specification-writing skills are critical for success.

Pay starting at $11/hr USD depending on YOE

Skills and Requirements

Must-Haves

• 5+ years as a Product Owner, Technical Product Manager, Systems Analyst, Product Engineer, or Business Analyst supporting technical products

• Strong experience with APIs, API strategy/design, and enterprise integrations

• Experience translating business requirements into detailed technical specifications

• Proven ability to write epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, technical requirements, and documentation

• Experience owning backlogs, roadmap prioritization, and Agile delivery

• Knowledge of MCP (Model Context Protocol) and agent/tool-calling concepts

• Experience with APIM and reusable enterprise platforms/services

• Strong written communication and business-facing presentation skills

• Ability to partner with engineering teams on solution design without being a hands-on developer

• Jira and Confluence experience Plusses

• Agentic AI, MCP, CustomGPT, or AI tool-calling experience

• Healthcare or fintech experience

• AWS and/or Azure exposure

• API marketplaces, developer portals, or developer-platform products

• Middleware/integration platform experience

• POC or prototype development experience

• Microservices and cloud-native architecture knowledge

• Previous software engineering background
