Job Title: Continuous Improvement Consultant

Job Description

We are seeking a highly analytical and adaptable Continuous Improvement (PPI) Consultant to join a small, high-visibility team supporting strategic business initiatives across the organization. The selected candidate will work within the organization and partner closely with leadership stakeholders to drive operational excellence, business insights, process improvements, and special projects. This role requires a unique blend of analytical capability, business acumen, executive presence, and emotional intelligence. The ideal candidate enjoys solving ambiguous business challenges, working with large data sets, creating executive-level presentations, and partnering with leaders across multiple functions.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with leadership stakeholders to drive operational excellence and business insights.

  • Lead process improvements and manage special projects.

  • Solve ambiguous business challenges and work with large data sets.

  • Support strategic leadership discussions with stakeholders.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Analytics, Operations, or a related field.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to derive insights from data.

  • Experience working with business systems, applications, and reporting tools.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to influence and communicate effectively with leaders at multiple organizational levels.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage changing priorities and work in ambiguous environments.

  • Strong executive presence and professional maturity.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Background in Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, Lean, Six Sigma, or Process Improvement (PPI).

  • Experience as a Business Analyst, Insights Analyst, Continuous Improvement Consultant, or similar role.

  • Engineering Background with a transition into business analytics or operations is highly desirable.

  • Experience supporting executive leadership teams.

Work Environment

This position supports a small, highly visible PPI team responsible for tackling complex and often undefined business challenges. The consultant must be comfortable moving between deep analytical and data-focused work, process improvement initiatives, executive-level presentation development, and strategic leadership discussions. The team operates with a high level of trust, accountability, and ownership, requiring strong relationship-building skills as the individual will work closely with senior leaders.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Louis, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $52.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
