POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

Research Scientist I

Salary Grade 18: $34.64/hour - $41.67/hour

The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene, Inc. is seeking qualified candidates to fill a position of Research Scientist I in the Office of Addiction Services and Supports, Division of Planning, Research, Information Management, and Evaluation, Bureau of Research and Program Evaluation to provide support for qualitative research and program evaluation.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Work with qualitative interview data, including data cleaning, coding, and analysis using NVivo.

  • Facilitate qualitative interviews including outreach, scheduling, recording, and transcription.

  • Develop, maintain and run monthly processes to update reports, conduct data quality checks, and conduct visualization quality checks.

  • Develop and maintain data and project documentation.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Biostatistics, Math, Computer Science, Data Science, or a closely related field and 2 years of full-time professional experience, OR;

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Biostatistics, Math, Computer Science, Data Science, or a closely related field and 1 year of full-time professional experience, OR;

  • D.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience with qualitative data collection and analysis

  • Expertise in using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Experience with healthcare delivery and/or administration
