Kimley-Horn is looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Dallas, Texas (TX) office! This is not a remote position.
Responsibilities

Support the annual business planning/budgeting processes through preparation of data and analyses
-
Partner with internal functions to analyze current month activity against approved budgets, assessing impact on projected annual profitability
-
Assist in monthly forecasting of operating expenses
-
Preparation of interim and monthly financial reports and responding to related inquiries
-
Performance of data requests, financial analyses, and other financial modeling, as requested by those throughout the firm, including senior executives
-
Respond to financial surveys throughout the year
-
Assist with special projects among various teams nationwide
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
-
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
-
Alteryx, VBA, Power Query, and SQL skills preferred
-
2 or more years of relevant experience
-
Excellent quantitative skills combined with an ability to interpret data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations
-
High degree of professionalism and the ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization from new hires to senior executives

Exceptional client service mentality and strong work ethic
-
Outstanding oral, written and interpersonal skills
-
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing requirements
-
Must be an excellent team player as well as work independently
