Employment Type: Part timeShift: Rotating Shift Description: PRN CT technologist to cover for staff PAL, holidays and on-call. Must have experience in hospital setting, be able to perform routine CT scans, x-ray exams, fluoroscopy and OR.Position Summary:
PRN CT technologist to cover for staff PAL, holidays and on-call. Must have experience in hospital setting, be able to perform routine CT scans, x-ray exams, fluoroscopy and OR.
What you will do:
- Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs CT procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail.
- Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis.
- Perform routine CT scans on pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, and trauma patients.
- Assist the radiologist in special procedures such as biopsies, drain tube placements, injections, and markings.
- Performing angiography studies of the brain, neck, and chest with 3D reformats
What you will need:
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: registered or registry eligible with ARRT
- Education: Graduate of formal Radiographic technology training in an AMA-Approved school.
- Experience: One year experience in hospital environment preferred and to demonstrate Radiological technology competence
