Schedule Details/Additional Information:

Monday through Friday Occasional evenings

Pay Range: $35.50 - $53.25

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required: Current license or certification to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Dietitian, in the State of applicable state. Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) preferred. If not certified, you must obtain certification within two years preferred but not to exceed 3 years.

Education Required: Degree in Nursing, Dietetics, or other related disciplines that meet the certification eligibility requirements for CDCES. If nursing degree, BSN preferred. Master's degree in Dietetics required if Dietician license obtained after 01/01/2024.

Experience Required: 2 years of patient-oriented educational experience preferred with a broad range of knowledge on diabetes for age-appropriate population and its interrelation to co-existing health conditions.

Education Preferred: Masters in Dietetics

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

Strong oral and written communication skills

Organizational and effective time management skills

Flexibility to adapt to changes in daily routine

Skills in public speaking (or potential to develop) for group/education classes or professional speaking opportunities
