Paint Shop Prepper / Sandblasting Technician

We’re looking for a Paint Shop Helper / Prepper / Sandblasting Technician to support our production team in preparing and finishing utility trucks and equipment.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday: 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM

What You’ll Do

• Perform paint prep, sandblasting, masking, and taping

• Clean and prepare surfaces to ensure proper coating adhesion

• Fill cracks, holes, and joints to specification

• Hang and remove parts from paint racks

• Apply non-skid coatings

• Clean paint equipment (spray guns, brushes, etc.)

• Remove paint overspray and ensure final quality

• Operate a forklift to move and stage materials

• Assist with minor assembly and small wiring tasks

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Follow all safety and environmental policies

What We’re Looking For

• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship

• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

• Excellent attendance and reliability

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment

• Basic knowledge of metals and fabrication processes (preferred)

• Valid driver’s license

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required

• ~1 year of related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

Important Requirement

• Must pass a respirator fit test

• Requires no facial hair on cheeks
