Full job description

Our mission: eliminating every barrier to mental health. Spring Health is a global mental health company on a mission to eliminate every barrier to mental health. We're building a world where getting support is simple, personal, and built around the person, so care can continue through every job, move, health plan, and life stage.

Our AI-native platform helps us deliver personalized support across self-guided tools, coaching, therapy, medication management, and specialty care. With outcomes independently validated by JAMA Network Open and the Validation Institute, Spring Health reaches more than 170 million people worldwide through leading employers, health plans, and partners.

As an AI-native company, we believe technology should expand the reach, quality, and humanity of care. Every Spring Health team member is expected to use AI tools thoughtfully, apply human judgment to AI outputs, and keep building AI fluency in ways that support their role and our mission. Reporting to the Senior Director, Sales Systems & Data, the Senior Manager, CRM Engineering will lead and unify Spring Health’s Salesforce CRM Center of Excellence, bringing multiple teams under a common operating model to drive platform excellence, system alignment, and scalable architecture. This full time, fully remote role is part of the Sales Systems & Data team within Revenue Operations and will play a critical role in deploying engineering talent against the highest-leverage RevOps and go-to-market priorities while building a Salesforce platform that can scale with Spring Health’s growth. Minimal travel is expected. What you’ll do:

  • Build and lead the Salesforce CRM Center of Excellence, consolidating work across multiple teams into a unified operating model with clear intake, prioritization, technical standards, and ownership while reducing duplicated and shadow CRM development.

  • Manage, coach, and grow a high-performing team of Salesforce engineers, administrators, and analysts. Set clear expectations and career paths, align team members to their strengths, and identify and hire for critical capability gaps.

  • Own Salesforce platform architecture and technical governance, including data model integrity, declarative versus programmatic development standards, security and sharing models, release management and CI/CD, environment strategy, and technical debt reduction.

  • Bring sufficient technical depth to lead architecture and design reviews, evaluate tradeoffs, and challenge solution choices directly, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure, and aligned with platform standards.

  • Partner across Product, RevOps, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Data, and Security to align the CRM roadmap with business priorities, translate strategy into a sequenced delivery plan, and communicate progress, risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs to senior and executive stakeholders.

  • Establish operational rigor for the Salesforce platform, including SLAs and support models for production issues, monitoring and incident response, documentation standards, release processes, and scalability planning ahead of business growth.

  • Create a culture of platform ownership and continuous improvement that balances near-term business needs with the long-term health and scalability of Spring Health’s CRM ecosystem.

What success looks like in this role:

  • Improve team throughput and increase the percentage of committed roadmap initiatives delivered on schedule with agreed-upon acceptance criteria met.

  • Reduce production incidents, change failure rates, and rollbacks associated with Salesforce releases.

  • Demonstrably reduce technical debt, unmanaged customizations, and duplicative automation while increasing adherence to architecture, design, and code-review standards.

  • Drive strong retention and engagement, grow internal promotions and Salesforce certifications, and reduce single points of failure across critical areas of the platform.

  • Improve partner satisfaction with the team’s responsiveness and solution quality while successfully consolidating Salesforce development and platform ownership within the CRM Center of Excellence.

What you’ll bring:

  • 5+ years of experience managing technical teams, including direct people management of Salesforce engineers, developers, administrators, or similarly technical CRM professionals.

  • 7+ years of Salesforce experience with deep technical grounding across data modeling and architecture, Flow, Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components, integration patterns, and Salesforce security and sharing models.

  • Demonstrated experience owning architecture and technical governance for a complex, highly customized Salesforce environment with multiple integrations.

  • Experience consolidating fragmented teams, backlogs, development practices, or processes into a unified operating model or Center of Excellence.

  • Experience with modern release management and DevOps practices, including version control, environment and sandbox strategy, CI/CD, and deployment tooling.

  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills, with demonstrated success partnering with leaders across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Data, and other business functions.

  • Experience owning intake, prioritization, and roadmap planning for a shared technology platform serving multiple business functions.

  • Experience managing technical delivery and team workflows in Jira or a comparable work-management platform.

Nice to have:

  • Salesforce Application Architect, System Architect, Platform Developer II, or comparable advanced Salesforce certification.

  • Experience supporting RevOps and GTM systems and processes such as CPQ, forecasting, territory management, or lead-to-cash.

  • Familiarity with modern GTM and data technologies such as Snowflake, dbt, Gong, Clay, Slack automation, or comparable tooling.

  • Experience delivering AI- or LLM-enabled capabilities within CRM environments, including governance and human-in-the-loop design.

  • Experience managing vendor relationships, managed packages, licensing, and offshore or contract resources.

  • Experience operating in a HIPAA-regulated environment, including PHI handling and security and privacy review processes.

  • Prior experience in healthcare, digital health, or another regulated industry.
