Manages the coordination of activities of a section or department with responsibility for meeting financial commitments, including costs, methods, and staffing.

Frequently interacts with subordinate supervisors, customers, and/or functional peer group managers to address sales process issues and/or resolve customer needs.

Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that increase productivity.

Provides guidance to subordinates within the latitude of established company policies.

Manages the performance of direct reports by developing accountabilities, establishing performance objectives, providing career counseling, feedback and guidance and ensuring that all policies are understood and adhered to.

Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.

Performs other duties as directed.

University Degree (Equivalent to Bachelors Degree) in a related field

8+ years of professional experience

Ability to work on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires a variety of factors, including understanding the sales process.

Ability to gain cooperation of others, conducting presentations of technical information concerning specific projects or schedules to senior level management.

Extensive knowledge of company policies and sales processes.
What we offer:
Total Rewards: We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. The estimated annual compensation for this position is $118,750 - 150,000 which includes a base salary of $95,000 - $120,000 and 25% on target performance. Members of the sales function are eligible to participate in the UL Solutions Sales Incentive Plan. The annual target incentive for this position is 25% of the base salary, paid quarterly, and is contingent upon performance. Compensation is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors.
This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country. We also provide full-time employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday including floating holidays (12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).
