Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $33.78 - $38.31 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Millwright Worker:

  • Perform inspections, parts replacement, alignment, balancing, installation, and refurbishment activities

  • Understand the operating principles of equipment and its role within the manufacturing process and facility

  • Understand equipment functions and applications to optimize equipment performance

  • Work closely with Production to gain a detailed understanding of operating parameters and ensure that maintenance interventions are appropriate and effective

  • Perform a variety of joining and fabrication activities, including welding, cutting, brazing, and soldering various materials

  • Weld carbon steel using Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) and Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) processes

  • Weld stainless steel using the SMAW process

Job Requirements:

  • Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady

  • Associate degree or 2-year technical degree in Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Mechanical Design, Machinist & Toolmaker, or a related field

  • Successful completion of a state-approved millwright apprenticeship (non-ACS), with a minimum of 2 years of full-time industrial millwright experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted), with a minimum of 5 consecutive years of full-time industrial millwright experience

  • Candidates will be required to successfully complete millwright, welding, and basic skills assessments

  • Background Check Required
