Job Description A leading organization in the healthcare and insurance space is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join its growing analytics team. This role is responsible for delivering data-driven insights that support strategic and operational decision-making across the business.
As a key member of the analytics function, you will partner with stakeholders across multiple departments to identify trends, build impactful reporting solutions, and develop actionable insights that improve business performance. This is an excellent opportunity for an analyst who enjoys working with complex datasets, creating meaningful visualizations, and helping business leaders make informed decisions.
Location: Boston, MA
Work Arrangement: Hybrid, 3 days per week onsite
Compensation: Up to $105,000 annually Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree required
-
3+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, statistics, informatics, or a related field

Experience working with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Excel, or similar reporting and visualization tools

Strong understanding of relational databases and data analysis techniques

Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into reporting and analytical solutions

Experience developing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations for business users

Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical findings to non-technical audiences

Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Desired Skills & Experience

Experience within insurance, healthcare, or other highly regulated industries

Exposure to advanced analytics, predictive modeling, or data science initiatives
-
Experience with Alteryx, SAS, or similar analytical tools
-
Familiarity with data governance and data quality practices

Experience collaborating with both business and technology teams
What You Will Be Doing Daily Responsibilities

Partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics needs
-
Extract, transform, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources
-
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations that drive business decisions
-
Identify trends, opportunities, and performance insights through data analysis
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define metrics, KPIs, and reporting standards
-
Support data governance initiatives and help ensure the integrity and quality of enterprise data
-
Assist in evaluating new data sources, technologies, and reporting solutions
-
Work alongside analytics and technology teams to improve data accessibility and usability
-
Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders across the organization

Contribute to data preparation efforts that support advanced analytics and modeling projects
