Full job description

RLDatix (RLD) is on a mission to help raise the standard of care… everywhere. Trusted by over 10,000 healthcare organizations worldwide, our solutions help improve health and care by enabling safer, more effective delivery of services. Our applications ensure patients receive the best and safest care possible, while supporting the providers who deliver it.

Joining TeamRLD means becoming part of a global community of over 2,000 team members, working together every day to make a meaningful impact on healthcare.

We’re looking for a Production Engineer III to join our global engineering organization in Skopje. In this role, you’ll help design, build, and operate highly reliable, scalable production systems that support our healthcare platforms. You’ll collaborate closely with development teams to embed reliability into application design, automate delivery pipelines, and ensure our systems remain resilient, observable, and performant as our products scale globally.

How You’ll Spend Your Time

  • Designing, building, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure to support reliable and secure software delivery across distributed environments.

  • Collaborating with development and platform teams to embed reliability, scalability, and operational excellence into application and infrastructure design.

  • Automating deployment pipelines and infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD best practices to enable fast, safe, and repeatable releases.

  • Monitoring production systems, diagnosing moderately complex issues, and driving sustainable root-cause solutions to improve system reliability and performance.

  • Implementing and evolving observability practices, including monitoring, alerting, logging, and distributed tracing, to provide clear visibility into system health.

  • Navigating ambiguous or evolving technical requirements by designing flexible solutions and iterating as business and platform needs change.

  • Maintaining high engineering quality through peer reviews, test-driven development practices, and proactive management of technical debt.

What Kind of Things We’re Most Interested in You Having

  • 4–6 years of professional experience as a Production Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or DevOps Engineer in a production-focused environment.

  • Strong experience designing, implementing, and operating scalable cloud infrastructure and microservice-based architectures.

  • Hands-on AWS experience, including services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Route53, IAM, KMS, and high-availability multi-AZ or multi-region architectures.

  • Experience working with Kubernetes (EKS), including workload scheduling, RBAC management, Helm-based deployments, and GitOps workflows (e.g., ArgoCD).

  • Proficiency with Terraform, including writing and maintaining modules, managing state, and implementing automated testing for infrastructure code.

  • Experience building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, with a focus on automation, reliability, and zero-downtime deployments.

  • Strong understanding of observability practices, including monitoring, alerting, logging, and distributed tracing (e.g., OpenTelemetry).

  • Familiarity with security and compliance standards such as SOC 2, GDPR, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.

  • Strong spoken and written English skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a global, cross-functional environment.

  • Ability to commute to the Skopje office (hybrid working model).

  • A genuine interest in improving healthcare outcomes through reliable, high-quality engineering.

By enabling flexibility in how we work and prioritizing employee wellness, we empower our team to do and be their best. Key benefits include private health and group accident insurance, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for confidential support, and Loyalty Awards for long-service employees.
