Job Summary:

Manager, Strategy (Live Nation Worldwide, Inc.; Beverley Hills, CA): Inform and support Ticketmaster’s comprehensive strategy. Translate trends into actionable insights and identify areas of opportunity for value creation to drive revenue, profitability, and strategic positioning. Conduct market assessments and build business models to validate growth opportunities. Inform strategic decisions & ensure we commit resources against the most attractive opportunities. Partner with senior leaders to guide business & product planning informed by our strategy and priorities. Support the highest priority programs to define objectives, assess trade-offs, and measure results. Monitor OKRs to ensure desired outcomes are being achieved. Communicate progress, challenges, and opportunities effectively to ensure alignment and support across the organization. Manage multiple initiatives and prioritize your work based on business needs and urgency. Be proactive in identifying opportunities to address organizational pain points and make broad impact. Provide thought leadership and strategic guidance to senior leaders. Telecommuting permitted within the US, pursuant to company policy.

Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Marketing, Business Economics, or related field, plus 3 years of experience in the position offered, Consultant, or related occupation.

Must have experience with the following:

  • Toolset (Microsoft Suite, SQL, Altryx, Tableau, and PowerBI);
  • Designing and deploying structured market surveys (including survey development, survey coding, data cleaning / cutting, synthesis of findings)
  • Conducting structured expert interviews and synthesizing qualitative insights into strategic recommendations;
  • Using or overseeing the use of SQL and Python to extract and manipulate structured datasets (filtering, aggregating, and joining data for analytical purposes);
  • Running or overseeing the development of regression models to estimate relationships between key business drivers and performance outcomes;
  • Building financial models based on numerous strategic decisions in Microsoft Excel (revenue forecasting, cost modeling, and EBITDA analysis);
  • Developing scenario analyses and sensitivity frameworks to evaluate strategic trade-offs under different business assumptions;
  • Developing bottom-up and top-down market sizing models including identification of key demand drivers and multi-year forecasting;
  • Performing strategic and operational analysis within the media and entertainment industry;
  • Analyzing technology architecture frameworks (system components, data flows, and integration methodologies);
  • Analyzing organizational structures using quantitative methods (spans and layers modeling to evaluate reporting structures, managerial ratios, and associated cost optimization opportunities); and
  • Conducting competitive benchmarking and industry analysis using secondary research and structured frameworks (Porter’s Five Forces and SWOT).

Salary: $152,000.00 to $161,000.00 per year
