Cape Cod, MA | 13-Week Travel Contract | 40 Hours/Week

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment with a respected healthcare system on beautiful Cape Cod, Massachusetts. This opportunity offers competitive weekly compensation, a consistent weekday schedule, and the chance to make a meaningful impact on patient recovery and independence.

Position Details

  • Location: Cape Cod, MA

  • Start Date: October 13, 2026

  • Contract Length: 13 Weeks

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day Shift

  • 40 Hours Per Week

  • Two weekends or four weekend days required during the assignment

  • Occasional holiday coverage

  • Charting System: EPIC

  • Client Interview Required

Compensation

  • Travel Pay Package: Up to $2,821/Week

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans

  • Provide therapeutic interventions to improve functional independence and quality of life

  • Assess patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate

  • Educate patients and families on treatment goals and home exercise programs

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EPIC

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

  • Current Massachusetts Occupational Therapist License

  • Current BLS Certification

  • Ability to effectively communicate in English

  • Previous occupational therapy experience preferred

  • Strong clinical, organizational, and patient care skills

The Occupational Therapist is responsible for performing client evaluations, developing and providing occupational therapy services, and documenting services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each patient.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of practice

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited school or program of Occupational Therapy

  • One (1) year of prior professional Occupational Therapy experience preferred

  • Current CPR if applicable

  • TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

  • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
