POSITION STANDARDS
-
Must possess one of the following combinations of expertise and experience:
-
(1) A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and 2 years of relevant experience working in a health care setting;
-
(2) A New Hampshire license as an RN, with at least 2 years of relevant experience working in a health care setting;
-
(3) An associate’s degree from an accredited institution plus 4 years of relevant experience working in a health care setting; or
-
(4) A New Hampshire license as an LPN, with at least 4 years of relevant experience working in a health care setting.

Must have experience in the health, human services, and/or community service field.
-
Must be able to conceptualize, organize, and implement a plan for the assisted and independent living programs, anticipate problems, predict outcomes, and plan for the future.
-
Must have demonstrated ability to hire, direct, and manage personnel.
-
Must demonstrate an understanding of how assisted and independent living facilities work, from governing bodies to financing.
-
Ability to communicate the programs’ philosophy and goals.
-
Knowledge of community service network is desirable.
-
Must have excellent listening ability, oral and written communications skills and possess a high degree of interpersonal relations skills and capability of relating to a variety of people and personalities.

Considerable initiative, judgment, and leadership skills are also required.

Must be caring, compassionate, and highly creative.

Must be able to multi-task.

Must always present oneself in a professional manner.

Must possess strong organizational and time-management skills.

PART TWO:FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITY
Position Objective
The Administrator has 24/7 accountability, responsibility and authority for all functions of Harvest Hill and is to continually maintain targeted occupancy level while promoting and sustaining a high performing, professional and efficient program ensuring continuous quality care, resident and staff safety and consumer satisfaction.
Performance Expectation

Is a key member of the organization’s senior leadership team.

Attains and/or maintains the targeted occupancy level.
-
Assists with developing and assuring implementation of the program's marketing plan.
-
Strives to attain excellence in consumer satisfaction through ongoing solicitation and measurement of consumer feedback, implementation of consumer suggestions, interactive problem solving with residents, and an annual program evaluation/quality assurance effort.
-
Makes measurable improvements in the overall coordination of all aspects of the program's consumer services.
-
Responsible for supporting and participating in the resident-centered activity program.
-
Takes initiative to actively plan, develop, and implement expansion and/or innovation in program services.
-
Guides clinical team including assisting with resident assessments.
-
Participates in tenant selection, move in/out coordination, resident orientation, and maintains liaison with residents and their respective families.
-
Ensures implementation and timely completion of staff training.
-
Makes an active contribution towards improving community relations, increasing positive public regard and overall awareness of the assisted living program.

Monitors, on a routine and ongoing basis, key measurable indicators of the daily operations.
-
Maintains the records of the community in compliance with regulatory requirements, including that of confidentiality.

Assists to interview, select, and hire staff.
-
Remains current in the areas of programs, regulations, and reporting requirements of all associated agencies.

Assists all other departments in the proper execution of their respective responsibilities.

Assists in the annual budgeting process.
-
Demonstrates an appreciation of the heritage, values, and wisdom of the resident and an understanding of the aging process.

Walks and inspects the community on a daily basis.
-
Performs other duties as requested by the Executive Director/CEO of Lifecare or the Management Company.
